The project
MOOSEGUARD is a Canadian heavy-metal project telling the stories of Canadian history. Each song is built around a real campaign, battle or symbol: the fall of New France in 1759–60, the War of 1812, the South African War, Canada’s battles of the First World War from Ypres to the Hundred Days, and the country’s national emblems.
The first release came out in late 2025. Since then the project has released EPs and singles on Spotify, Apple Music and YouTube.
